WORKS

The expected works are websites with a minimum of 10 screen pages.

The site should be accessed through a Netscape Navigator or Internet Explorer browser. The candidates are free to choose any subject in order to favor creativity and cultural diversity.

The works should be original, designed and made by the candidates themselves. If candidates use some materials from other designers, they should get the authorization to do so and should provide all the references.

PRE-SELECTION

National Internet users ( Students, Institutions,...)are invited to propose sites for each of the five categories.

From the list of proposed sites, RINAF and UNESCO will pre-select between 20 and 30 for each maximum.

The process of registering (web site submitting) is to be precized wether on line, wether by mail, wether directly to the office of the local RINAF point.

EVALUATION

Once the pre-selection process is complete, the short list will be submitted by email to the evaluators (or to the evaluators workshop), providing links to each selected site so the evaluators can browse through them before making a preliminary evaluation.

Web-based interactive evaluation form will be made available for use by the evaluators wherever they are located using a standard Internet connection.

In each category, the votes for each site will be aggregated and sites will be ranked. Furthermore, based on the preliminary evaluation, there will be an electronic forum to allow the evaluators to exchange their points of view, discuss the problems met and agree on the final selection of the web competition.
